this is part of my local blast, know it well, you do need to watch out for the odd sheep, tractor, and the jump, but plenty of places to get the knee scratching the tar, theres a nice place in newcastleton to sit outside and get a refreshing drink,
Excellent bit of road did from Canonbie back to our hotel in Newcastleton, fast flowing bends, atch out for hump just as you come into Newcastleton, had a good foot under both wheels taking off !! Also done from north end back to Newcastleton, some excellent fast twisting bends
done this route whilst doing my iam, and even though i was being assessed it was still a blast, we used this for the corners and bends lesson so think that explains just what its like, plenty of good corners both tight and sweeping. not much of a police presences but watch out for the odd farmer cause thats about all i saw, great cafe just outside selkirk too, AND BIKER FRIENDLY, he is a biker him self happy riding!!!!
better than most of the rest, but now becoming more popular with bikes, so watch out for speed traps soon is my guess!
A route through the Kielder forest, a great selection of different types of corners and changes in elevation (some quite technical and blind, so watch out!!)
