This ride starts on the relatively easy A5 north, it cuts off at Knockin and passes though the Bala. The B4397 is spectacular and falls into Balla. Stop at the lake side cafe and head south. This route then cuts into Snowdonia following a single lane pass - if you thought the views where good prior to this just wait. This pass can be accessed by all bikes but adventure bikes are recommeded as there are a LOT of sheep and a LOT of gravel.
