Hwy 89 is a great road with near-perfect road surface, low traffic, great scenery and a mixture of gentle sweepers to some much tighter corners than can (and will) get inattentive riders. Corners are well marked along with \"suggested\" speeds so you have an idea of what kind of corner you are approaching, but still pay attention. This is a great ride in either direction, whether you just came up Hwy 66 to Hwy 89, or whether you are taking Hwy 89 to ride Hwy 66 down.
