I know the section from Bourne to Lincoln best. South of Bourne there seems to be lots of villages with 30/40 mph limits and a fair bit of traffic. North of Bourne there seems less traffic. Lots of straights and sweeping bends though care needed south of Sleaford with one or two 90 degree bends. Heading north of Sleaford the road is open and fast though there can be lots of HGVs on a weekday. Look out for speed cameras near Nocton Heath before taking in RAF Waddington about 3 miles south of Lincoln, inc the Vulcan bomber which bombed Port Stanley Airstrip in the Falklands War. This run is best done on a weekend
my favourite bits from Bourne to Sleaford a nice road to get moving on
Quite nice wide road for the most part, nice easy visibility contrasted with the occasional twisty section and some very tight blind turns, be careful.
