Excellent bit of road but can be somewhat busy with traffic depending on the time of day. Can be done at a decent pace but as others have mentioned there are plenty of corners with limited visibility and blind crests to contend with. Ride the vanishing point and watch out wildlife running out into the road and you'll be fine!
This is a great bid of road but as stated can be a bit of a black spot for all kinds of collisions. I have added another nearby road in Barton-Le-Clay 'Higham Road'. The two roads can be combined to make a longer ride and both are great ride albeit short.
excellent but short! lots of trees, some blind corners so be careful. on the plus some great elevation changes and corners, took me by surprise first time so watch out! definitely one to go back to.
Watch out through the trees past Hexton (towards Barton) it can be damp for a long time after rain. Watch out for Deer. Seriously.
You can add a bit onto the start of this route by starting at the Harlington turn on the A5120 just 400 yards from M1 J12, through Harlington and Sharpenhoe to Barton.
Nice undulating road with some blind crests and bends (be careful)
