Lovely road all the way from the motorway, through a few small towns and then it opens up to a wide, well-maintained road. The last section up to the Col is just great.
The other half of the road in France (beyond the Col)is mainly wooded with some open sections. Nice cafe/bar on the way down

I did the Spanish side a couple of times and would have another go when in the area

Really nice stretch of road that you can have a good time riding. Not many elevation changes but it´s constantly flowing left and right. Best ridden with lots of friends :)
