I live in the area and love this road especially from B'hofen to Hintertal. As others have said, it is a good road to use as part of a tour to The Großglockner

Did it twice in Aug10 & Sept11. Tar is new, very nice scenery and some wide corners.

I did this route on Thursday 30 September 2010. We rode from Hermagor in Austria through Tarvisio to Gorizia on our new Morini Granpasso (probably the last one to ever be made!), which included this section. Very definitely a worthwhile ride, even as a day trip out of Italy or Austria.

A great and mostly quiet route, alternate way to reach the famous Glossglockner if you are traveling from north. Great scenery and great corners.
