Rode this route from Ulm to Strasbourg the other day (12/8/05). It is a great route with some very high speed stretches with open bends, then there is some stretches with many hairpin bends. The scenery is excellent, some very nice villages and some views of the black forest. During this journey I saw to police bikes, both were in a village where we stopped for a break. They rode around the village several times and stopped periodically just looking at parked cars. I have got to visit again sometime, this road (B28) is a very good ride.
